How To: Bookings & Demos:

Step 1

Reach out via my contact form or shoot me an email at dj@djdykes.com 

Share details about your project like 1) specs, 2) deliverables, 3) live directed session needs, 4) usage/term, and 5) budget. If you have a script ready, be sure to attach that as well!

Step 2

I’ll send you an audition within 24 hours, as well as a quote based on your usage and term.

I typically refer to the Global Voice Actors Association (GVAA) Rate Guide when building a quote. 

If you need a live directed session, I’ll include that in the quote as well.

Step 3

If like what you hear and are good with my quote, just shoot me a confirmation email with your final script attached. If you’d like any changes to my performance, include your creative direction and I’ll make it happen!

Step 4

Upon confirmation, I’ll self-record or schedule our directed session. Then I’ll send you the final audio in WAV+MP3 via WeTransfer.

My standard self-record delivery time is within 24 hours for most commercials, promos, and narration. For long-form narration, this delivery could take longer.

Step 5

Revisions: For commercial and corporate narration, I offer two rounds of revisions as-standard.

Invoicing: I’ll send over an invoice after the first delivery is made.

  • Performance Mistakes
    I will fix any mistakes in pronunciation, misreads, or missing words at no charge.
  • Artistic Edits or Perfomance Adjustments:
    For commercial and corporate narration, I offer two rounds of revisions as-standard.
  • Additional revisions beyond the second will be charged at 50% of the original rate, plus a $185 session fee. 

 

Script Rewrites:

  • For First Round of Minor Edits: Free for changes under 10% of the script or up-to 10 seconds of audio.
  • Substantial/Additional Rounds: Billed at $185/hr (1hr min) per round.
